Simple Version

By publishing a reflection on this platform, you agree that anyone can copy and use your reflection as a whole for any purpose (including commercial), as long as they attribute it to you.

Your Rights

• You retain full copyright to your reflections
• You can edit or delete your reflections at any time
• Your email address remains private
• You control your author profile information

What You're Allowing

By publishing a reflection, you grant everyone (the platform, other users, and the public) permission to:

• Copy and share your reflection in any format (digital, print, audio, etc.)
• Include in compilations such as books, collections, or devotional materials
• Use commercially or non-commercially without paying you royalties
• Translate your reflection to other languages (community members only)

Required Conditions

Anyone using your reflection must:

• Keep it whole - Cannot excerpt, modify, or change your words
• Attribute to you - Must display your author name
• Include source - Should reference re-flekt.me or provide original link

Example attribution: "God's Grace by John Smith (re-flekt.me)"

Platform Use

The platform may:

• Display your reflections on the website
• Offer free EPUB downloads containing your reflections
• Allow community members to translate your reflections
• Include your reflections in compilations and collections

Translations

When you publish a reflection, other community members may translate it to other languages. Translations will:

• Link back to your original reflection
• Credit you as the original author
• Be subject to these same terms

Deleted Reflections

• Deleted reflections show as "Reflection Removed" on the website
• They will be excluded from future compilations and downloads
• Already-downloaded copies may still contain your reflection (we cannot recall distributed files)
• The permanent URL remains but shows "Reflection Removed"

No Warranty

The platform is provided "as is" without warranties. We do our best to keep the service running, but:

• We don't guarantee 100% uptime
• We're not liable for any damages from using the platform
• Reflections may be lost due to technical issues (though we back up regularly)

Community Guidelines

By using this platform, you also agree to follow our Community Guidelines, including:

• Post at least once every 365 days to remain active
• Reflections must be 120-320 words
• Respect the 2-approval process for new members (inviter + 1 community member)

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms occasionally. If we make significant changes, we'll notify you and require re-acceptance.
